Bulletin 4/28

Good morning, today is Friday, April 28, 2017!!!!!

  • Applications for the 2017-2018 Executive ASB officers are now being accepted. Please pick one up in the main office. They are due back by Friday May 5th.

  • Prom tickets are now $15 per couple and $10 per single. You can purchase them in the office or at the door. Prom will be from 8:30 – 11:30 pm this Saturday.

  • If you purchased pre-sale prom tickets, please go to Ms. Miller's room at lunch to pick up your masks and beads!

  • Are you looking for something amazing to do this summer?  GEAR UP has many summer camp opportunities ranging from robotics to wild life biology.  If you are interested please see Ms. Miller for details.  Camps are open to current 8th, 9th, 11th and 12th graders.  All costs are paid by GEAR UP.  

  • Upward Bounders are you interested in engineering, electricity, internet service delivery or hydroelectric dams?  If so, join us for a facility tour of the Okanogan PUD and Chief Joseph Dams May 2nd.  Permission slips are outside Meghan's office and are due back by Friday, April 28th.  

  • Upward Bounders, do you need community service hours?  Join us on May 6th at Camp Ortoha (Lost Lake) for a day of raking, dusting, shining and more!  See Meghan for more details!

  • Senior Presentation Templates are available in the counseling office for all Seniors

  • The deadline for the Oroville Scholarship Foundation is May 5th. The deadline for the Mule Deer Foundation is May 8th by 3:30. Information is available at the counseling office for both scholarships.

  • There will be additional police patrols out this Saturday April 29th. Please be smart, and don't drink and drive.

  • Track needs dismissed at 10:50 for an 11a departure to Peshastin.

  • Fun Fact Friday…..Dogs have three times more taste buds than cats.

  • Fun Fact Friday…….An insect called an assassin bug sometimes carries dead ants on its back to appear bigger.

  • There will be a RECON Telescope Campaign tonight at 9:30pm on the HS football field. We have a high probability of viewing the eclipse if weather permits. If you have any questions, see Mr. Booker.
