1/31 Bulletin

Good morning, today is Tuesday, January 31, 2017!!!!!

  • The Oroville Scholarship Foundation will be presenting its 12th annual Variety Show on Thursday, March 9 at 6:30PM in the HS commons.  All types of acts for the show are welcome!  If you're interested in showing off your talent, please come by the HS office to pick up an application.  Applications should be submitted to Mr. Stiles.  An application and audition are required for participation.

  • Be the change club members need to pay the office for their t-shirts ASAP.

  • HS basketball needs dismissed at 11:50 for a 12pm departure to Waterville.

  • JH Girls basketball will host Brewster starting at 5pm tonight.

  • Gear up study tables each Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm in the library, as well as daily homework completion during lunch in the home ec room.

  • Tomorrow, HS wrestling will host the league mixer. Matches will start at 10am.

  • We are on assembly schedule today, with a pep assembly this afternoon.

  • Fun Fact Friday…….sticking raw bacon in your nostrils can stop serious nosebleeds.

  • GEAR UP will be having a field trip to Spokane Community College and Spokane Vocational College through SCC on January 17th.   If you are a junior or senior and still don't have a plan after graduation, this trip is for you.  Come see Ms. Miller or Ms. Hughes for more information 

  • HS PE classes are scheduled for a ski day at Sitzmark on Thursday January 19th. Mr. Thacker has information and permission slip forms. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Booker. JH will attend on February 9th.

                  • Welcome back from break!! We hope you are all rested and ready for a fresh start. Please join us in welcoming our new interim principal Dr. Omar Montejano.

                  • The Oroville CARES Coalition is looking for an official Art Logo; please see Mrs. Loudan for more information.

                  • Yearbooks are on sale!! Cost is $50. Talk to Mrs. Booker if you need to set up a payment plan.

                  • North Valley Hospital job shadowing will be ending Feb 1st.  If you want to job shadow this year please see Ms. Miller, Ms. Hughes or Meghan before winter break to sign up.
