  • Smarter Balanced English Language Arts retakes for juniors and seniors are today.  Please report to the computer lab by 8:45 today.

  • The library will be closed today for testing.

  • NO SCHOOL next Tuesday November 1st and Wednesday November 2nd for student led conferences.

  • Junior prom meeting in Mr. Kindred's room Monday at lunch.

  • FBLA meeting today in Mr. Kindred room at lunch.

  • Senior Night tonight at the Football game against Waterville. Kickoff is at 7 pm.

  • Join Gear Up and Upward Bound for a Western Washington University and Whatcom Community College Campus visit, tomorrow, October 26th.  Turn in your permission slips to Ms. Miller, Ms. Hughes or Meghan today!

  • There will be a RECON telescope campaign this Sunday night at 10pm on the HS football field. We will be collecting data for the CalPoly research project involving occultations in the Kuiper Belt region. The observation will occur from 11:10pm to 11:30pm. Please bring warm clothes. If you have any questions see Mr. Booker.

  • Tonight will be the traditional HS football "Bell Game" in Tonasket with a 7pm kickoff.

  • Picture Retakes are TODAY. Please wait until you are called to have your picture done.

  • Sophomores have the PSAT tomorrow from 9-noon.

  • Girls' soccer will host Liberty Bell today at 4:30.

  • HS Volleyball needs dismissed at 2:10 for a 2:20 departure to Brewster.

  • JH Football will host Liberty Bell for their last home game tonight starting at 5:00pm.

  • The gear-up trip to CWU on October 22nd has been canceled. The trip to WWU is still on.

  • All students must have a signed planner to be out of class at any time. This notice will serve as the last warning for students, and referrals will be written for anyone without a singed planner from this point forward.

Good morning, today is Friday, October 14,  2016!!!!!   

·         School Pictures are in the office. Please come pick them up!!!

·         Senior Project Proposals are due today to Mrs. Acord.

·         Senior Auctions need to be paid by this morning if you want your Senior for the day! Seniors - your pre arranged forms need to be turned in as well.

·         We are on an early release schedule so we can have Hornet Olympics this afternoon.  Attendance will be taken after lunch.  If you are not here, you cannot attend the football game tonight, volleyball game tomorrow or the Homecoming Dance.

·         JH Football practice is cancelled today.

·         High School Football will kick off against Bridgeport at 7 pm. Come support your Hornets!

·         High School Volleyball tomorrow against Tonasket at 11 am.


Fun fact Friday; There is a 90 % chance that your parents will steal some of your Halloween candy.

October 19 gear up will go to North Cascades Broadcasting to explore careers in the broadcasting industry.

October 22 to Central Washington University for all 8th grad and 9th grade students and parents.  A fun day filled with lots of great information on how to prepare for college.

·         October 26 to Western Washington University in Bellingham and Whatcom Community College.  If you are a junior or senior who is interested in attending college at either of these schools this will be a great trip!!

·         If you are interested, please come see Ms. Miller or Ms. Hughes ASAP for permission slips

·         Sophomores have the PSAT scheduled for October 19th from 9am -12 pm in room 206 and the library. Any juniors who are interested in taking the PSAT to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship can go to the counseling office to sign up.

·         Senior Project Proposals are due on Friday to the counseling office, Also, for those that don't have a project yet go to the counseling office as we have some projects that need to be completed.

  • GEAR UP opportunities....October 22 to Central Washington University for Junior and Seniors to explore the college of education and sciences.
