Bulletin 9/22

Good morning, today is Thursday September 22, 2016!!!!!


  • We are on the assembly bell schedule today due to class meetings this afternoon.

  • Driver's Education signups are now available in the main office. Classes will start on October 3rd. Deposit of $100 required to secure your spot, total cost is $350.00. Only 7 seats remaining.

  • ASVAB testing will take place today in the library and Room 206.

  • Class meetings this afternoon to elect class officers, fundraiser planning, and homecoming royalty. Each grade along with advisors will meet in the following locations

    • 7th grade – Mr. Booker's Room

    • 8th grade – Mr. Jensen's Room

    • Freshman – Mr. Arnold's Room

    • Sophomores – Library

    • Juniors – Ms. Miller's Room

    • Seniors – Mr. Colvin's Room

  • Upward Bounders, your parent permission slips are due by Monday to Meghan for the 3 Day Outward Bound Rock Climbing trip.

  • GEAR UP has the following field trip opportunities for career and college preparation and exploration. If interested, please sign up with Mrs. Acord, Ms. Miller, or Mrs. Hughes –

    • October 3rd, Senior FAFSA Completion night in the HS computer lab 7pm.  We will have Pizza, Coffee and Cocoa in the home ec room for parents and students who come this night.

    • October 12 to Mid Valley Hospital...check out careers in the medical fields.

    • October 19 to North Cascades Broadcasting...check out careers in the broadcasting industry.

    • October 22 to Central Washington University for Junior and Seniors to explore the college of education.

    • October 22 to Central Washington University for all 8th grad and 9th grade students and parents.  A fun day filled with lots of great information on how to prepare for college.

    • October 26 to Western Washington University in Bellingham and Whatcom Community College.  If you are a junior or senior who is interested in attending college at either of these schools this will be a great trip!!

  • HS girls' soccer will host Tonasket today at 4:30.

  • HS Volleyball will take on Brewster starting at 5pm.

  • JH football needs dismissed today at 2:35 for a 2:45 departure to Brewster.
