2/27 Bulletin

Good morning, today is Friday, February 27, 2015!!!!!

  • Anyone interested in playing tennis this season, please stop by the office and sign up!

  • Tomorrow there is a JH culminating wrestling tournament starting at 10 am.

  • Girls Regional Basketball will be tomorrow at Cheney High School at 12 pm against Colfax.

  • The rooter's bus for tomorrow has been CANCELED due to lack of participation.

  • Right after 1st period today, we ask that all students please report to the front of the building for a warm send off of the Girls Basketball team to Regional's!

  • The sign-up sheet for Spring Driver's Education is in the main office. Only a couple spots left!! You must pay your deposit to confirm your spot. Class starts March 10th.  

  • Rhema needs to pay for their "Be The Change" T-shirts or Mrs. Loudon will give them to others that want them.

  • Any student needing hours see Coach Rice, Andrea Perez, or Coach Booker and sign up to help at the Killer Bee Wrestling Tournament next Saturday, March 7.

  • Spring Sports start on Monday March 2.

  • There are fees and fines posted around the building. Please look to see if your name is on there and take care of those fees at the main office.

  • The Pennies for Patients drive is over and the winners of the root beer float party are Mrs. Whiteaker's advisory class. Thank you all so much for your generous giving to such an important cause. We have exceeded our goal of $250.00. We do not have an official total but we have earned over $500.00

  • GEAR UP has the following career exploration opportunity for 7th and 9th grade girls.  Expanding Your Horizons is a hands-on exploration of careers for women in science, technology and engineering and math.   • Today is the last day to give to Pennies for Patients during Scholar time. The boxes will be picked up today during scholar time and we will announce the winner soon. Mrs. Whiteaker's class is in 1st place, followed by Mrs. Massart's in 2nd place and Mrs. Feltes' is 3rd place. Thank you all for making this drive such a big success. We have exceeded our goal and you have all given to such a great cause.

Good morning, today is Monday, February 2, 2015!!!!!

  • Any senior who is interested in scholarships need to go see Mrs. Acord in the counseling office.

  • JH Ski Day at Sitzmark is this Thursday, February 5th! See Mrs. Whiteaker for a permission form!!

  • Make up EOCs are this week. Look for your name on the rosters posted around the school to find when and where you will be testing.

  • GEAR UP is providing after school tutoring/study tables Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm.  If you are failing, behind in a class, or just need a quiet place to do you work this is for you.  Those attending and who improve their grades by semester will be put into a drawing for a $25 iTunes card.

  • There is a penny drive through "Pennies for Patients" for children with Leukemia & Lymphoma. There will be boxes for each of the advisors in their classrooms for students to donate their pennies over the next 3 weeks. The advisory class who gives the most will get a root beer float party!!More importantly, we want to give help to the children who battle these diseases.

  • February 4th is World Cancer Day. There will be a poster up in the commons showing all the different colored ribbons that represent different types of cancer. Show your support on that day for family and friends that you know who have battled this disease and wear the color of ribbon that represents your loved ones!!!
